How does IPTV work?
IPTV brings TV over your internet connection, with no cable box or satellite dish. The ITU defines it as "multimedia services such as television/video/audio/text/graphics/data delivered over IP-based networks". GreatestIPTV provides the channels, movies and series; your app displays them. No app provides content on its own: you need a GreatestIPTV subscription.

You sign in to the app once with your server URL, username and password, and it loads everything: live channels, movies and series, and the electronic program guide (EPG).

Install safely: GreatestIPTV tips
- Install apps only from your device's official app store or the app developer's official website: never from an unknown site.
- Allowing unknown apps is needed for Downloader only, on a Fire TV Stick: you can switch it off again once your player is installed.
- Never post your password or your login details in a public message or a screenshot.
- No player app provides content on its own: the channels come from your GreatestIPTV subscription. GreatestIPTV has no app of its own; these are third-party players.
GreatestIPTV: IPTV for Firestick (Fire TV Stick)
On an Amazon Fire TV Stick or Fire TV, GreatestIPTV's guide installs IPTV Smarters Pro with the Downloader app, then signs in with the login from your GreatestIPTV welcome email (your server URL, username and password).
- From the Home screen, go to Find → Search, search for Downloader and install it.
- Open Settings → My Fire TV → Developer options → Install unknown apps, and turn it ON for Downloader.
- Don't see Developer options? Open Settings → My Fire TV → About and click your device name 7 times, then go back.
- Open Downloader, allow its permissions, and download IPTV Smarters Pro from its developer's official website.
- Install IPTV Smarters Pro, open it from your Apps list, and accept its terms.
- Choose "Login with Xtream Codes API" and enter any name (for example GreatestIPTV), then the username, password and server URL from your welcome email.
- Click Add user and wait for the channels and the TV guide to load.

- Open Google Play and search for "IPTV Smarters Pro" or "IPTV Smarters Lite".
- Install the app and open it, then accept its terms of use.

- Click Add user and wait a few moments for the channels to load.
- Open Live TV, Movies or Series, pick a category, then a channel or a title.

- Download and install the app, then open it.

- Click Add user and wait for the playlist and the TV guide (EPG) to load.

GreatestIPTV IPTV setup on Samsung and LG Smart TVs
First check your TV's app store for IPTV Smarters TV Plus: if it's listed, the setup is the same as on Android. If it isn't, use an app that's activated with your TV's MAC address: SET IPTV, NET IPTV, Smart IPTV, IBO Player Pro or Flix IPTV.
These MAC-activated apps often have a free period, then a one-time activation fee paid to the app developer, not to GreatestIPTV. On a Hisense VIDAA TV, the guide uses Hot Player.
- Samsung: press the Smart Hub button, go to Apps and search for IPTV Smarters TV Plus. LG: press Home and search the LG Content Store.
- If it's there, install it, choose "Login with Xtream Codes API" and enter the details from your welcome email.
- If it isn't, install SET IPTV, NET IPTV or another MAC-activated app and open it: it shows your TV's MAC address (or Device ID).
- Write the MAC address down carefully and send it to the team on WhatsApp with your order.
- Once the team confirms the activation, close and reopen the app (or restart the TV): the channels load.

GreatestIPTV IPTV setup on MAG and Formuler boxes
A MAG box uses a portal URL instead of an app: you enter the portal from your welcome email, and the team activates the box's MAC address. On a Formuler box, the guide uses MyTVOnline, which comes pre-installed.
- On the MAG box, press SETUP (or SET) on the remote and open System settings → Servers → Portals.
- Enter a name in Portal 1 Name (for example GreatestIPTV) and the portal URL from your welcome email in Portal 1 URL, then save.
- Send the box's MAC address (on the sticker underneath, or under Device Info) to the team on WhatsApp, with your order or just after.
- Once the team has activated it, reboot the box: it loads the portal on its own.
- On a Formuler box, open MyTVOnline and add the details from your welcome email.

On a computer, the guide uses IPTV Smarters Pro, downloaded from its developer's official website for Windows or macOS.
- Download IPTV Smarters Pro for Windows (.exe) or macOS (.dmg) from the developer's official website.
- Windows: run the installer. Mac: drag the app into Applications (you may need to allow it once in Privacy & Security).
- Choose "Login with Xtream Codes API" and enter any name (for example GreatestIPTV), then the username, password and server URL from your welcome email.

The picture stutters or buffers
Use an Ethernet cable rather than Wi-Fi if you can, close apps running in the background, restart the device and your router, and run a speed test. If it keeps stuttering, watch in HD rather than 4K.
"Invalid login" when signing in
Type each field by hand, exactly as in your email: usernames and passwords are case-sensitive, and a space before or after breaks them. The server URL must include http:// (and the port, if one is given).
No channels are loading
Refresh the playlist in the app's settings, clear the app's cache and restart it, or remove the login and add it again from scratch. Still nothing? Try another device or player app.
The TV guide is empty or wrong
Refresh the EPG in the app's settings and wait a few minutes; check that the device's date, time and time zone are automatic. Xtream Codes gives a better TV guide than M3U. The guide covers the next 2–3 days.
The app keeps crashing
Clear the app's cache, update the app and the device's software, or uninstall and reinstall the app. If it still crashes, try another player.

How do I set up IPTV on a Firestick?
Install Downloader from the Fire TV search, turn "Install unknown apps" on for it in Settings → My Fire TV → Developer options (if Developer options is hidden, click your device name 7 times under About), then use it to install IPTV Smarters Pro from the developer's official website. Open it, choose "Login with Xtream Codes API" and enter the details from your GreatestIPTV welcome email.
How do I set up IPTV on my Smart TV?
On Samsung or LG, look for IPTV Smarters TV Plus in the TV's app store and sign in with Xtream Codes. If it isn't listed, install a MAC-activated app such as SET IPTV, NET IPTV or Smart IPTV, and send the MAC address it shows to the team on WhatsApp. On Hisense VIDAA, use Hot Player.
